Catholic Cathedral of St John the Baptist Cross

This pendant is inspired by the 16 x 9 foot gilded copper Celtic cross atop The Cathedral of St John the Baptist in Charleston, SC. The cross, designed by architect Patrick Charles Keely, was blown off during Hurricane Hugo. The cross was again removed during the renovation of the church and repaired with patches of copper before being returned to the roof.
