Blue Canton Large Tea Jar Lamp

This majestic lamp has a history dating back to America's colonial days. Blue and white porcelain was highly prized and rare, being shipped from China. The melted blue color comes from cobalt ore originally introduced from Persia and often used in Chinese decoration. The base is this fine porcelain, covered with whimsical landscapes and figures.
