Native to China and its national tree, the Gingko biloba remains a symbol of longevity, hope, resilience, and peace. Dubbed a 'living fossil' by Charles Darwin, the plant has thrived for more than 270 million years. Since many Ginkgo's survived the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima in 1945, they are considered 'bearers of hope.' Captivated by their exotic beauty, creative minds continue to use Ginkgo leaves as motifs in art and literature.
