Heart Gate Ornament

The Heart Gate is located on the grounds of St John’s Reformed Episcopal Church. This gate is a design of Philip Simmons, Master Blacksmith (1912-2009). The Heart Gate is an example of Simmon’s masterful ironworks that grace the streets and buildings of Charleston.
